4X4 Friday Challenge - Watercolours

The 4x4 Friday challenge this week was Watercolours. "Create a 4×4 this week using watercolors somewhere on your 4×4! Could be for a background, around an image-just use your imagination!"

I have used watercolours everywhere on my card. :) I have used Ecoline Liquid Watercolour for the background, Watercolour pencils for painting the images.

ARTY GIRLZ - FRAMES, PAPER TAKE WEEKLY - BLOOMING GORGEOUS

The Arty Girlz challenge this week is Frames.

"This week's challenge is 'Frames' so you could use cardstock to make a frame, do a stitched frame, a buttoned frame, alter a frame, doodle a frame.... there's so much you can do for this challenge and we can't wait to see what you come up with."

I was inspired by Marieke Vermeulen's frames a couple of months before and I have decided to use her idea for framing my granddaughter's photo.

Although it may look like a layout, it is actually a card 5,5"x5,5" in size.

She is a very Girly Girl so there are a lot of flowers surrounding her photo. I thought it would be my entry for Paper Take Weekly challenge "Blooming Gorgeous".

"This weeks challenge 'Blooming Gorgeous!' is to use floral embellishments on your projects! These could be Prima's, silk, wire stemmed, die cut, handcut etc! etc!So please join us again this week and help make all our crafty blogs 'Blooming Gorgeous'!!"

I have used the paper from K&Co and ProvoCraft, the accent stickers from Papermania, DCWV and K&Co.

DARING CARDMAKERS - RED AND WHITE

This week Daring Cardmakers challenge is Red and White! "...we decided on a colour combination for a change. We want you to design a card using only RED AND WHITE on your cards- it doesn't have to be a Valentine themed card - it can be any theme- as long as use incorporate RED and WHITE on it."
